Governments and industry are planning ever more, ever larger data centres to meet demand for data and AI services. Much of that build-out is unnecessary. Given the right conditions (applications architected for concurrency, Rholang as instruction set, and – ideally – reconfiguring the centre to bring memory and processing into proximity) it can significantly improve throughput even on standard processors by several times.
